OUR APPROACH
BRINGING HOPE DIRECTLY TO YOUR DOOR
Many cancer survivors don't know that financial assistance is available to them. They are too busy fighting for their lives to search for resources — so we bring the resources to them. Our Door to Door program sends trained volunteers and foundation representatives directly into neighborhoods across our chapter cities.
We knock on doors, attend community events, visit churches, barbershops, beauty salons, and anywhere people gather — spreading the word that the Mandatory 8 Count Cancer Foundation is here to help. No one should have to fight cancer alone, and no one should lose their home or utilities while doing it.
Through our partnership with Walmart Spark Goods, we are able to extend our reach into communities across Arizona, California, Texas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, New York, and North Carolina — with more states being added every year.

HOW IT WORKS
THE DOOR TO DOOR PROCESS
IDENTIFY COMMUNITIES IN NEED
Our team identifies neighborhoods and communities with high concentrations of cancer survivors who may need financial assistance.
DEPLOY VOLUNTEERS
Trained foundation volunteers and representatives go door to door, attending community events and visiting local gathering spots.
SPREAD AWARENESS
We share information about our financial assistance program, eligibility requirements, and how to apply — in plain language, face to face.
CONNECT SURVIVORS TO RESOURCES
We help cancer survivors complete their applications and connect them directly with the foundation's financial assistance program.

Our Door to Door program is made possible in part through our partnership with Walmart Spark Goods. This partnership allows us to establish chapter locations in Walmart stores across the country — giving us a trusted, accessible presence in the communities we serve.
